The Textile Triangle area includes numerous museums, with carefully preserved and restored original machinery and buildings that bring alive the stories of the people whose lives were shaped by the textile industry. Discover the story of the Leek Embroiderers, the Silk Weavers of Macclesfield, the pauper children who worked at Quarry Bank Mill and the Congleton Ribbon Makers at Congleton Museum.
Also visit one of the stunning, independent galleries showcasing the work of new and established artists from around the region.
