Knutsford Great Race 2010

**Part of the Elizabeth Gaskell Bi-Centenary 2010**

Sunday September 5th 2010 - In support of the charity www.shelterbox.org

The main event is the Penny Farthing Championship - World Series which is an endurance race and starts at 2.00pm. The winner is the competitor/team  that completes the most number of laps in the alotted three hours, finishing at 5.00pm. There will be competitors from around the world including the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Czech Republic, France, Germany and Hungary.

Featuring Original Dandy Horses Machines, Bone-Shakers and Penny Farthing (Ordinary or High Wheel) Cycles dating from the middle of the 19th Century.

Whether you would like to compete in these races, act as a marshal, take up sponsorship or merely to come along on the day..we are sure you will have a lot of fun and enjoyment........

We are limiting entries for The 2010 Knutsford Great Race to be held on Sunday 5th Sept..........to 50 Teams (A team maybe a solo rider or a group team of max 4 riders) and we already have 12 teams entered.
