This technique is created using a crochet hook and a large knitting needle. The broomstick lace is a vintage crochet stitch that creates a nice lacey effect. It is also known as the peacock stitch, the Peruvian stitch and jiffy lace.

Local buses run from and to Ashbourne and Leek. 15 miles from Stoke-On-Trent Station
Take the A523 from Leek towards Ashbourne for approximately 5 miles, past the village of Bradnop. We are situated on the right handside 0.5mile past the turning for the RSPB Coombes Valley Reserve.
From Ashbourne take the A52 towards Leek, the road turns into the A523. At Bottomhouse, the Green Man Pub in on the left, we are the 3rd farm on the left past the lay-by
