Continental Knitting

There is a lot of debate in knitting circles as to which is the fastest knitting method, the English way or the Continental way? During this workshop you will learn basic skills that will enable you to knit the Continental (also known as the German) method. The morning is spent learning how to cast on, knit and purl, as well as putting these stitches into practice by knitting some different textured samples. The afternoon is spent putting the new skills into practice by working on a small needle case.

Participants should bring 3.75mm knitting and cable needles, a tape measure, scissors, a darning needle, a notepad with a pen.
